Our intentions
reflective in features & advantages of IHICS©
Our intention is to satisfy all stakeholders, which are involved in the constructing process. From the architect over block producer, contractor to the builder until the customer at the end, who ordered whatever building or construction based on our “Interlocking Hollow-block based Integrated Construction Systems” (IHICS).
Therefore all invented IHICS consists of different block types, which have an individual, specific and unique functional design for its purpose. Together with the other invented system components such as C-Purlin based beams and posts or limestone based concrete, mortar and plaster, they bring the following advantages:
- Guaranteed uniform coherent component properties due to the usage of mixture recipes based on locally sourced materials
- A much faster building process due to the lightweight, toy-block like hollow-blocks, which requires less or no formwork, mortar and/or plaster
- An integrated skeleton structure resulting from partially filled cavities and channel recesses with reinforcement bars and concrete backfill
- Proper load bearing properties of structures due to the system-enforced correct placement of the reinforcement resulting also in a proper protection against bad conditions
- Possibility of direct integration of additional requirements to the structure, such as sanitary or electrical installation, insulation or additional reinforcement with concrete backfill
- Built to withstand harsh conditions such as atmospheric corrosion in coastal areas and disasters like typhoons and earthquakes
